Paul Bunyan Days
Labor Day Weekend in St. Maries comes alive with the annual celebration Paul Bunyan Days. Food and craft vendors, music, and logging competitions highlight this family-friendly sendoff to summer.
Ironman Coeur D’Alene
Combine a 2.4 mile swim, a 112 mile bike ride, and 26.2 mile run in succession. The annual competition takes place in the summer every year and attracts participants from all over the world. Car d’Lane Classic Car Show
In mid-June, the Car d'Lane Classic Car show is a "kick-off" to summer. Enjoy the Friday night "cruise" on Sherman and Lakeside with the whole family. Area restaurants and vendors have concessions available along the route.
Coeur D’Alene 4th of July Festival
With an afternoon parade, concerts in the park, and various other activities, there are few better places to spend 4th of July than Coeur D’Alene. The nightcap of course is a spectacular fireworks show over the lake and viewable from downtown.
Wooden Boat Festival
Every year in the 3rd week of August the boardwalk near Coeur D’Alene Resort is flooded with visitors viewing a grand assortment of boats. Food and local brews are available on the boardwalk and on resort lawns.
Sled Dog Races
In early February, Priest Lake plays host to the US Pacific Coast Championship Sled Dog Races at the USFS airstrip. Bundle up, grab your thermos of hot chocolate and come out to enjoy the fun.
